What is Boudoir? The word boudoir is French, and it refers to a woman’s private dressing room. It’s an intimate place that she has all to herself. In the same way, boudoir photography is intimate photography taken for the subject and her own personal.

A boudoir session can be a scary thing for a lot of women. below is a list of questions that I get asked frequently. I thought maybe I could answer a few of them here to share with every lady who’s curious. If I can’t answer your question here, please send me a message and I will make every attempt answer any questions or doubts you may have.

Do I have to wear lingerie?

While Lingerie is the preferred choice of clothing. You absolutely do not have to wear lingerie. Some women bring in dresses, Ripped jean Shorts, Daisy Dukes Shorts, faux furs, body suits, one piece swim suits. It’s all up to you and the vibe you want to create for your session. We typically set up a call before your session and we can help you figure out your outfits Choices.

Where can I purchase my lingerie or sexy outfits?

There are a ton of online shops to choose from. Yandy, Fashion Nova, Shein, Venus, locally Cindie’s. We also have lingerie and other sexy outfits of our own that you may use.

Is hair and makeup offered?

Yes, we believe it’s important for you to feel pampered a little before getting in front of a camera. Having your hair and makeup professionally done for your boudoir experience ensure that you look as fabulous as you feel. Hair and Makeup is a part of every session. We typically do a group message with our team where you can share your Hair and Makeup Ideas and tips.

Are my images retouched in anyway?

I edit all images for color balance, lighting and exposure corrections. There is some skin retouching. As we want our clients to feel beautiful and empowered. Clients prefer to look as much like themselves as possible, but still glow like a model for a day.

Will you share my images on online?

We will only share your images if you’re ok with that. If you don’t want your images on our website, or on social media that is your choice, and the choice is totally yours. Some women want to share their images with other women because it empowers not only them, but other women when they see how beautiful the images turn out.

I’m not sure I can afford to treat myself? Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes, we offer a payment plan. A retainer is due at the time of booking. You can pay half now, and the other half 2 weeks before your schedule date. If this doesn’t fit your budget and need more time, we can book your shoot a few months out and schedule payments that suits your budget. We can setup payment schedules for any products that you want to include. Such as Albums, Prints, or Canvases. All of which will be discussed during your consultation with us.

Now that I’ve committed, I’m not sure this is right for me!

Every woman has second thoughts after she booked her appointment especially the day of their shoot. What we attempt to do is calm those fears leading up to the day of the shoot. Weeks and Days out we will be in communication with our client. Talking to them about what their fears are, and working hard to ease those fears and anxieties. Our goal is to put you mostly at ease before you get in front of the camera that requires us to talk about your concerns and build some chemistry between us. To ensure you that this is all about you, and being intimate. The day of the shoot we pamper you like the queen you are. We offer you fruit, snacks, lunch, and your choice of adult beverages. This typically means a Mimosa, a glass wine, or even a shot of spirits of your choice.

How can I view the files?

We offer our client an online gallery where they can sit in the privacy of their home and view their images on their own private computer. Our online gallery will only be available for access for 6 months. After that the files are archived.

Do you offer Prints?

Our studio does offer a variety of different product options. From Photographic Prints, Image Folios, USB drives, Signature Albums, and Wall Art.

Can I get digitals files?

In this age of social media Yes, you can purchase digital files. We only offer digital files in addition to wall print purchases. You may order a minimum of 15 high resolution files and up. Digital files will be at an additional cost and are not fully retouched. Only the minimum corrections are made, such as color correction, exposure, cropping, etc. Retouching of digital files is available at $40.00 an hour.
